Hello! I'm a Vegan/Plant-Based Hospitality Consultant and a proud Pittsburgher who has called the ‘Burgh home my entire life! A variety of roles have taken me all over Western PA: award winning management/sales work in the employment industry, award winning athletic competition and coaching, as well as the vast opportunities for recreational and artistic exploration that our amazing city and surrounding areas have to offer, including our amazing foodie scene! I enjoy traveling across the country and internationally with my husband and family, gathering endless inspiration.
I also follow a Whole-Food-Plant-Based lifestyle for my health. Along the way, I learned about the tremendous positive impact that vegan lifestyles have on our planet and all of its inhabitants. While coaching individuals to better their own health circumstances over the years, I observed that the biggest challenges occur when trying to dine outside the home, such as at restaurants, hotels, cafes, sporting events, tourist attractions, and catered events.
Rather than accept the popular notion that healthy plant forward meals could only be prepared at home, I sought professional certification from Vegan Hospitalityas a Vegan Hospitality Consultant. I use my professional experience and expertise to empower restaurants, hotels and other food businesses to confidently offer delicious and healthy plant-based options. I envision dining experiences where all guests can comfortably enjoy the social aspects of dining out with others while still supporting their wellness, personal values and environmental concerns.
